We're getting spooky with a flash fiction contest! Write a short, SCARY story under 1000 words. Winner gets $50 cash!
Entry Fee: $5
Length: Under 1,000 words
Theme: The theme is Scary Story! The one that scares us the most wins! All stories must be written in first person point of view.
Prize: -First Place gets $50 cash, Publication on RedJacketBooks.com and the Red Jacket Books Newsletter.
Second and third place also get published to RedJacketBooks.com
The entry must be original and unpublished. Must be titled. Must be uploaded before midnight on the deadline date. Must be in DOC, DOCX, or PDF format. By entering you give permission to Red Jacket Books to publish the story in perpetuity. Entries outside the word count will be disqualified.
The Winner will be announced on October 30th, 2023
